The Breakfasters

Daniel and I like to go out for breakfast. We like to interrupt Peter's studying for Japanese tests and drag him along. And if we can catch Aimee and Savannah too, that's awesome. Baby Bean in tow, we're systematically hitting up Portland's breakfast spots. (Systematically = trying to not go to the same place twice. Give us a break, its the best we can do before caffeine.)

Daniel. Doesn't do coffee or tea. Prefers his caffeine carbonated and neon no matter what time of day. Digs omlettes.

Ilona. Tries to stick to the one latte a day rule. Generally orders french toast or pancakes. Has no problem ordering eight things ala carte to craft the breakfast she wants.

Peter. Doesn't do fruit and meat combos. Talks about grits a lot.

Aimee. Responsible for most of our explorations into unknown breakfast territory, and thus, very valuable as a fellow breakfaster. Lactose intolerant, but if she really wants it, will order it anyway.

Savannah. Seven year old that hates raisins with a passion.

Baby Bean. One year old. Likes scrambled eggs, spinach and finding people to flirt with.
